Drawing a television is often a drawn out process, but with this quick tutorial you'll be able to draw your own in no time. This tutorial will teach you how to draw a television, which includes necessary steps such as creating the tv screen and drawing the picture within it.Use this guide as your go-to breakdown if you've come across an object that may need to be drawn on paper before continuing on with construction of that object. It's always best to have a reference before starting, so place it near by if needed.Follow along with this guide and learn how to draw a televisionFirst, start out by sketching the TV screen onto your paper. Since the TV is primarily a static object, there shouldn't be much movement involved.Use a ruler to draw an even rectangle, which should be at least flat enough to fit on a sheet of notebookpaper."Note:" If you'd prefer not to use a ruler, you can always freehand draw it into the size that fits snuggly on either side of your drawing area. This is how I'd recommend doing it if you're not sure what width would be best for your actual drawing.

Once you've outlined the TV screen in, but before continuing on with the following steps, save this file as .PNG or .JPG.Next, draw in an outline of the TV picture on top of your screen. If you've already figured out which angle you want it to run at, make sure to incorporate that into your picture (I'll cover how to do that later). The TV picture can be anything you want it to be; if you're drawing a tv show or a movie poster, I'd recommend leaving out any backgrounds (or at least not have them touching up against each other).

I'd recommend drawing your TV screen on a separate piece of paper along with the picture that belongs on top of it, as this will make it much easier for you to transfer the finished product onto paper.Once you've decided how big or small your television image would be, you'll be able to get a rough idea of where to position it on the TV screen. This way, when you're drawing out the TV picture, it'll already fit in perfectly.Save this image as .PNG or .JPG and remember that we're going to use this picture for reference later (so don't delete it!). Include this in a folder with all other images you need for reference (e.g. TV screen). As you can see, the TV picture will run diagonally within the television screen (you'll find out why later).I'd recommend placing it about 90% of the way into the rectangle. If you need to, use a ruler to help you out with this part.Once you've got your image placed in on top of your TV screen outline, it'll look something like what's shown here.Next, get rid of all unnecessary parts from your drawing (i.e. everything outside the Television frame).
